Research on hydro-meteorological characteristics for reservoirs system operation problem in the Srêpôk river basin

Abstract

   There are 6 hydro-power reservoir have been built in the main stream of Srêpôk basin. Research on hydro - meteorological characteristics in the basin will be important for reservoirs system operation. The paper shows that rainwater resources is abundant but uneven distribution in time. 

    The period of flood is synchronous but floods occur unsimultaneously. The period of reservoirs system operation is from August to November. Reservoirs are regulated for flood control when the water level reaches the second warning level.
