Simulation of multi-reservoir operation in Srepok river basin for flood control using the Mike 11 model

Abstract

    In recent years, the increase of flood in both numbers and manitues in Central and Highland part of Vietnam has damaged properties and human life. Therefore, studying on multi-reservoir operation for flood control has received interests from many managers and specialists. This paper presents the application of MIKE 11 model to simulate multi-reservoir operation in Srepok river system. As expected, the research results will be used as scientific basis for establishing multireservoir regulation for flood control in the downstream part of the river.
