About joint slits and construction quality of roller-compacted concrete gravity dams

Abstract

     Transverse and construction joint slits and conjunctive treatment are the very important parts in building the Roller-Compacted Concrete Gravity Dams. Quality of the joints is involved with cracks and leakage in the dams. This paper discusses about the effect of the joints, thermal studies and correlation analysis of the density to the stress so that correction to RCCD executed conditions in Pleykrong case study.
