Study about effect of geometry of ground control point to accurate position in short baseline network by using GPS

Abstract

     Nowadays, it is more popular to use Global Positioning System in surveying and mapping, specially in making ground control netwoks. In Vietnam there are many difference ideas about the effect of geometry of ground control point to accurate position. By theory and practice, this paper show that this effect is very small. So we also strong recommend you need not care about it when using GPS to make short baseline-network
