Determination of earth pressure acting on buried culvert

Abstract

    Determination of earth pressure acting on buried culvert appears frequently. In this paper the authours discussed the results of earth pressure calculated by different methods. Factors which affected on earth pressure such as soil properties, trench slope, depth of culvert installation and foundation stiffness etc. have been considerd. The results are exprerssed graphically for reference
