Study on the improvement of structural shape of hydro-automatic flap gate utilized in small-dams in the moutain of Northern region

Abstract

     The present paper proposes a hydro-automatic flap gate utilized in small-dams in the moutain of Northern region. This gate can be manufactured for one-by-one prototype specimen available. Thus, it is easily to install and replace the gates in small-dams. For using spring system to create the momen againsted overturn, the gate can satisfy with different water levels when it is used the spring sytem with equivalent stiffness through table test available. It is the main advantages of the gate.
