Study on transport mechanism of flow behind a circular cylinder
Abstract
In this study, the transport mechanism of flow behind a circular cylinder will be investigated based on Lagrangian Coherent Structure (LCS) analysis and particle tracking simulation. The flow behind the cylinder is divided into different regions and their movements will be predicted over time. This transport can be quantified based on LCS method. The study also highlights the effect of the Reynolds coefficients (60-1000) on this transport mechanism.
