Abstract

This article studies prominent mechanical behaviors of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) withrespect to plain concrete structure at the post-cracking phase by studying the existing researchesand doing the three points bending tests on SFRC-beam with two different fiber volume fractions, the flexural tensile stress- crack mouth opening displacement (CMOD) relations of SFRC will bedeeply studied and be a foundation for further researches in the future. Finally, from these studies, new material could be introduced for using in slabs and shells structures for improving the loadcarrying capacity of these types of structures.
