Using of Keramzit and lightweight steel slag to manufature the lightweitht concrete applicatons in construction works

Abstract

   Using the foaming additives, Keramzit and lightweight steel slag, and superplasticizer to design thelightweight concrete component with good workability and high compressive strength, suitable forconstruction works. When replacing the binder with 10% Silica fume, combined using of reasonablesuperplasticizer and foaming additives, the lightweight concrete will be manufactured withcompressive strength of over 30MPa at 28 days, the bulk density is satisfactory. The designedlightweight concrete meets the technical requirements for construction works.
