Abstract
Water treatment in the super intensive shrimp farms is crucial for environmental protection and biosafety control. Test results of wastewater treatment by batch aerobic biological process showed that removal efficiency of organic and nitrogen at 10 ‰ salinity after 24 hours was 89% and 79.7%, respectively. Results of disinfection of wastewater treated with electrochemical activated solution show that: to meet the discharge standards, the amount of active chlorine needs to reach over 10 mg / l and the minimum contact time of 60 minutes.
