Study on the selection of design elevation of discharge channel bottom of drainage pumping station

Abstract

     This paper presents a proposal for improving the selection of design elevation of discharge channel bottom of drainage pumping station. By comparing the total electric energy of two drainage pumping stations of Bac Nam Ha irrigation-drainage system corresponding to design water levels of 10% 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% frequency at the discharge tank and channel of the pumping stations, the paper proposes that it is necessary to consider some design frequencies of water level of discharge tank of drainage pumping station in order to find out an optimal design option.
