Calculation of the hydraulic characteristics of chute spillway

Abstract

     Up to now,vsteady non uniform flow method is used to calculate hydraulic characteristics of chute spillway. On this theme, the changing of hydraulic characteristics on spillway is calculated by the characteristic graph method, a method used for unsteady and one - dimensional high velocity flow. This program designed with the using of Visual C++ is used to calculate hydraulic characteristics of chute spillway in Dam Bai water reservoir (in Hoa Binh province) and its results are very good.
