Research of wave overtopping on hollow structure in physical model

Abstract

    The wave trough physical model experiment has been elaborately performed with 60 random wave scenarios combining different structural seawall sections (TSD) to evaluate the influence of TSD on the overflow wave discharge through the structure. Test the mixed seawall method with Rc/Hm0 < 1.35, for the theoretical curve to build the calculation method. Based on the experimental results, the study proposed a method to calculate the overflow wave through the TSD, allowing to include the TSD structural parameters (chamber flooding (d), surface voids ()).
