Abstract

Industrialization and modernization are among the most important tasks of the development process. The process of promoting industrialization and modernization in our country has achieve significant economic improvement with improving people’s lives. However, along with the industrialization process, natural resources are being increasingly exploited and depleted, while natural environment is seriously polluted. Entering the Reform era, through congresses, Communist Party of Vietnam’s environmental protection viewpoints have always been supplemented, completed and developed. Party’s viewpoints and policies on environmental protection are an important basis for the State Government to complete environmental regulations and development strategies. These viewpoints have become a reality in socioeconomic life within the process of national development. This article presents the development process of Communist Party of Vietnam’s viewpoints on environmental protection, at the same time, proposes a number of solutions to improve the implementation of Party’s environmental protection viewpoints in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.
