Abstract

Can Tho city has diverse culinary tourism resources and is the tourist center of the Mekong Delta region. This article uses primary data that were collected by the questionnaire survey method of 200 domestic tourists to Can Tho. The findings show that the majority of tourists were satisfied with street food and willing to introduce Can Tho cuisine to their friends and relatives. In the research model, surveyed tourists were most satisfied with the quality of food and drinks, and at the same time, many tourists complained about service quality, facilities, safety, and food hygiene. Tourist satisfaction differs between age groups but does not differ by gender or education level. From the research results, this article proposes some solutions to improve the efficiency of exploiting cuisine as an important tourism resource of Can Tho in the future.
