Abstract

Cuisine plays an increasingly important role in choosing a tourist destination. Grasping that trend, many countries in the world have paid attention to exploiting culinary culture to attract tourists. South Korea is one of the countries with famous cuisine and has specific policies and orientations to develop culinary tourism based on the inherent advantages of traditional cuisine, thus being very successful in developing this type of tourism. Through research and study on exploiting culinary culture to develop tourism as well as experience in developing culinary tourism in South Korea, this article has drawn practical lessons for developing culinary tourism in Vietnam in the coming time.
