Abstract

Binh Duong has the potential to develop river tourism, with such rivers as Sai Gon and Dong Nai flowing through many attractive tourist destinations. The study used 7 aggregated criteria to evaluate 19 river tourism resource sites along Sai Gon river of Binh Duong provincial area. The article used analytical hierarchical method (AHP) to collect comments from 8 experts representing stakeholders (managers, researchers, and tour operators) to determine the weights of indicators. evaluation criteria in the form of pairwise comparison. The results show that Binh Duong has the advantages of developing Sai Gon Cultural Heritage with 14/19 experimental points at a favourable level, no point reaching the maximum favourable level, and 01 point ranking less favourable. Limitations in infrastructure, material and technical and management are hindering the development of cultural heritage. The proposed solutions focus on planning and building the marina system; unified management of riverway exploitation; invest in infrastructure and technical infrastructure, form local specific cultural heritage products.
