Abstract

Having both the sea and the mountains, and located on the Central - Central Highland

heritage road, the gateway to the sea from Lao PDR and Kingdom of Cambodia, Phu Yen Province

has many advantages for tourism development. With unique natural and cultural resources along

major roads, Phu Yen province has many advantages in developing intra-provincial tourist routes that

attract domestic and foreign tourists. The article comprehensively evaluates the potential and

advantages of Phu Yen’s tourism resource routes using the analytical hierarchy (AHP) method. The

results of the article show that Phu Yen provincial authority can develop and exploit highly

competitive intra-provincial tourist routes. In addition, the province can develop and exploit inter

provincial and neighboring tourist routes.
