Abstract

Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province has a natural area of 258,89 km2 , has 12 km of coastline, running along the coast are hundreds of hectares of sedges, thousands of hectares of parrots, aquaculture lagoons and 50 hectares of salt fields. The livelihood of coastal residents in Nghia Hung district depends a lot on the natural environment. The livelihood activities of coastal residents such as agriculture, salt production, mining and aquaculture have contributed to ensuring food security and economic development for the locality. Through the livelihood activities of the coastal residents of Nghia Hung, the culture and behavior of the people with the natural coastal environment here. In the the article, the current status of fishing and aquaculture, the status of cultural behavior shown in the activities of utilizing and adapting to the natural environment and proposes some recommendations for behavior orientation solutions suitable to the natural environment in livelihood activities for coastal residents in Nghia Hung
