Abstract

Vietnam is facing marine environmental pollution as a result of socio-economic development, ineffective management capacity and use of marine resources. Marine pollution causes serious consequences for the marine ecosystem, reduces aquatic productivity and resources, affectsthe sustainable development of the marine economy. Despite attention and focus on marine environmental management through the promulgation and implementation of policy and legal systems, marine environmental management still faces some difficulties and limitations.
