Giải pháp quản lý rừng theo hướng bền vững tại tỉnh Hà Tĩnh

Abstract

The patterns of forest area in Ha Tinh province in the period 2015 - 2022 basically remained stable. Management policies have been effective, significantly limiting law, minimizing damage caused by forest fires and deforestation with increasing revenue for forest development. However, forest protection and development are also facing many difficulties and shortcomings due to impacts of natural conditions, lack of unified legal policies, inadequate funding investment, limited application of science and technology in forest management as well as exploitation and processing of forest products. Based on analyzing of achievements and limitations, challenges in sustainable forest protection and development, this article proposed some solutions for sustainable forest protection and development, including: strengthen state management; protect, develop and preserve forest resource and forest land; promote conversion of large timber forests associated with sustainable forest certification; apply science and technology in forest protection and development; at the same time propagate to raise the awareness of residential community and officials in implementing sustainable forest development goals.
