ROLE OF POLITICAL - SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN VINH PHUC PROVINCE

Abstract

Environmental protection is a responsibility, a right and an obligation of all citizens as well as the whole society, including socio - political organizations. In Vinh Phuc province, socio-political organizations have been promoting their active role in environmental protection in the locality, through propaganda and mobilization activities; contributing ideas to the planning and construction of infrastructure; resource mobilization; monitoring and evaluating the implementation of environmental protection contents. However, the participation of socio-political organizations in environmental protection still has some limitations, related to the management capacity of union officials, mechanisms and policies to mobilize participation, public awareness on environmental protection issues.
