PARTICIPATION OF VIETNAMESE TOURISM INDUSTRY IN THE ASEAN

Abstract

The article analyzes the participation of Vietnam's tourism industry in ASEAN in the period 1995 - 2019, thereby identifying the possibility of integration and competition in the region. The results show that Vietnam's tourism industry has been actively participating in many areas, making efforts for cooperation and development, thereby affirming its position in the region.  The article gives some suggestions on how to take advantage of integration opportunities to help Vietnam's tourism industry overcome competitive challenges so that it can participate more deeply in the ASEAN regional playing field.
