Phân tích SWOT đánh giá điều kiện cho phát triển du lịch cộng đồng của Hòn Yến, tỉnh Phú Yên

Abstract

Hon Yen is a landscape of national significance, a new and attractive eco-tourism and community-based tourism destination of Phu Yen province. This article uses field methods, expert investigation, and SWOT analysis to clarify the values of Hon Yen tourism resources and other conditions. The strength of Hon Yen tourism resources is the diversity, unique values, and cultural landscape of villages in the Southcentral Coast. Hon Yen has a great opportunity to develop community-based tourism associated with specific tourism products such as discovering columnar basalt geological heritage, shallow coral ecosystem, scuba diving experience, lobster farming... However, tourism in Hon Yen has not yet developed strongly due to limited investment, poor transport infrastructure, services, and human resources for tourism. The main challenges for tourism development here are the risk of biodiversity loss, high plastic pollution as well as conflicts between tourism development and other local economic sectors.
