Model of concrete materials in pressed areas when bented in consideration of effects of belt cores

Abstract

       In this paper different material models for concrete used for the analysis of RC beams under bending moment are shown, taking the bearing behaviour of this type of region in RC beams into consideration. A material model for concrete in flexural compression zone with confining effects of hoops is proposed and some results are shown to get a better understanding about these effects on the material model.
