Proposing model of factors affecting knowledge management activities and model of the impact of knowledge management on the commercial banks’s efficiency

Knowledge management is one of the most important factors affecting the performance of an
organization and increasing its competitiveness. Knowledge management leads to improving decision-making,
customer relationship management and adding valuation for new services. In the banking sector, knowledge
management can support the development of the bank’s business strategies, as well as improve the bank’s
performance. The paper aims to analyze and clarify the contents of knowledge management in commercial
banks, thereby proposing two research models: (i) studying factors affecting knowledge management at
commercial banks and (ii) study the impact of knowledge management on the performance of commercial
banks
