Active teaching methods to enhance student’s learning efficiency at Banking Academy

Abstract
Teaching methods play an important role in improving the quality of training. Overtime, teaching methods has changed from passive methods to active methods, in other words, from traditional teacher-centered training programs to student-centered active methods. With this teaching method, students not only acquire knowledge proactively but also practice skills as searching information, critical thinking, problem solving…, thereby creating the initiative, positive and creative leaners. In this paper, the authors present the characteristics, benefits and different types of active teaching methods and analyze the current situation of applying active teaching methods at Banking Academy and suggest solutions to improve the quality of this methods. Research methods include statistical method, comparison and analysis. Data is retrieved from survey of the Testing and Quality Assurance Department, survey of specialized faculty.
