Digital accounting - The future for accountants

Abstract

Digital technology is changing all areas of socio-economic life, especially, the trend of digital transformation strongly affects all sectors of the economy, including the field of finance - accounting. Based on the literature review of domestic and foreign studies and observing trends of businesses around the world, this paper clarifies the concept and benefits of digital accounting, and initially points out the contents related to the digital transformation process in accounting, including: (1) Automating accounting processes, (2) Selecting accounting technology solutions suitable for each company, (3) Using digital accounting data for real-time decision making, and (4) Standardization of data information in the enterprise.
