Using AI to support academic research and publishing

Abstract

With the development of AI technology, researchers now have many tools to support the research
and academic publishing process, helping to improve work efficiency. This article introduces some typical AI
tools that support information retrieval, literature review, drafting, idea development, target journal selection,
and plagiarism checking. In addition, the article also discusses some potential challenges of using AI as a
basis for proposing recommendations for scientists, publishing houses and management teams in the use of
AI technology in research and publishing activities.
