Vietnam's economy in 2013 and policy recommendations for 2014

Abstract

   The perspective of Vietnam economy has both positive and negative marks in 2013. Basically, the macroeconomics remains stable. Economic growth and industrial production have signs of restoration, especially processing and manufacturing industries. In 2014, the outlook of Vietnam economy has positive signs from the perspective of world economy and the reform effort of government. This paper analyses the achievements and problems in 2013 with the aim of giving the propensity of the world economy affecting Vietnam economy and of proposing the policy solutions for 2014.
