Employment challenges for women workers in the process of international economic integration

Abstract

    The paper anah zes the employment challenges for women workers on the Vietnam labor marketfor more than a past decade of international economic integration. The applied method ismultivariate analysis of afiecting factors of professional qualifications of the women workers inthe context of reducing demand for female labor and restnicturing female work in theintegration process. Some of the challenges and barriers to women workers employment includelow level of education and profession training, domestic role in the family and the need to eamfor living. These challenges make women become vulnerable groups in the labor market
