Forms of belief relating Vietnamese people’s occupations in Quang Nam and their values in the current life

Abstract

The paper analyzes forms of belief relating Vietnamese people’s occupations in Quang Nam, Vietnam. These are beliefs related to agriculture, to fisheries and to craft system (carpentry, pottery). By describing the characteristics of belief, we clarify the impact of belief concerning occupations on the spiritual life of the people of Quang (Quảng in Vietnamese) in general.
