Preliminary analysis on the biodiversity in An Hoa estuary, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province

Abstract

Our surveys in An Hoa area, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province in November 2016 and April 2017 recorded 185 animals and plants species. Phytoplankton: 22 species, Tracheophyta: 27 species, Zooplankton: 19 species, Zoobenthos: 29 species, Fish: 56 species, Amphibia and Reptilia: 8 species, Bird and Mammalia: 24 species,; There are 3 ecosystems. Aquatic resources and abundant species include some species of Epinephelus moara (Temminck & Schlegel), Epinephelus coioides (Hamilton), Crassostrea rivularis Gould, Panulirus spp., Portunus spp. and  Sipunculus sp.
