Cartogram – a method of spatial data visualization

Abstract

Cartogram, an impressive way of spatial data visualization, is widely used in Eastern countries. However, it has not been officially introduced nor accepted in Viet Nam. Aiming at diversifying data visualization methods, this paper presents an overview of cartogram with Vietnam-data-illustration, from which an issue of using this way of data visualization would be considered.
