Abstract
The article presents methods of calculating internal force and vertical displacement in the middle section of floating bridge under vehicle load by using the finite element method and 3D structure model. Based on that result, the authors examined the maximum stresses in beam frame system which is made of GFRP composite material in order to build a scientific basis for determining the applicability of GFRP composite materials to produce floating bridge.
