SUBJECTIVITY AND OBJECTIVITY IN VIETNAMESE AND ENGLISH ADDRESSING SYSTEMS

Abstract

In this article, working defnitions of subjectivity and objectivity are offered, and T-V paradigm of addressing terms/dyads in languages discussed. Expressions of subjectivityobjectivity in Vietnamese and English addressing systems are critically analysed on the basis of primary and secondary sources.
