The current situation on Vietnamese-Chinese interpreting courses in Vietnamese universities and some ideas for designing Vietnamese-Chinese interpreting courses

Abstract

   After having an investigation on compiling courses of Vietnamese-Chinese interpretation, we find it remains uncovered for many years. If those being used met professional demand, appropriateing with tbe pratical teaching at Chinese Language Department in universities all over the country, how Chinese-Vietnamese courses should be compiled to fit the learner's ability as well as pointing out those specific motivation, standard level, knowledge and core technique; the level of the confornity to these courses. Tbe current paper tries to give the most reasonable anwers to the above questions.
