A NEW APPROACH TO COMPLEMENT IN VIETNAMESE LANGUAGE

Abstract

Complement is one of the minor constituents of a sentence. The study of it is very important in teaching and learning Vietnamese language. Up to now, concepts and classification of complement haven’t been clearly set up yet; there are many problems needing appropriate consideration. This paper presents a new perspective on complement in Vietnamese, with the desire in an effort of determining issues such as: function, structures and classification of complements that act in Vietnamese language.
