DEONTIC MODALITY IN TAT DEN (TURN OFF THE LIGHT) (NGO TAT TO)

Abstract

Analysis regarding various aspects of structure, meanings, functions of means of deontic modality in Ngo Tat To’s Tat den. Accordingly, we draw a conclusion on different ways of choosing and using means of language to express deontic modality, of using sentences containing deontic modality to express Tat den’s subject and the author’s style.
