This article has the goal of surveying the gratitude mode in Russian and Vietnamese, as a first step to describe the structure of this behavior in the languages in order to collate them to point out the similarities and differences between two languages, contribute to improve the efficiency of teaching and studying Russian and Vietnamese as foreign laguage, assist learner to avoid the mistake made by language - culture crossing in communication
