SEMANTIC FIELD OF VEGETATIVE PARTS OF SPRING FLOWERS IN TONG TAP VAN HOC NOM VIET NAM

Abstract

Lexical-semantic field is known as a  hierarchical concept which means a field can be divided into several subfields. This article will discuss  the semantic field of vegetative parts  and  its  symbolic  values  of  spring  flowers  in  Tổng  tập  văn  học  Nôm  Việt  Nam.  This article  also  helps  appreciate  the  beauty  of  sceneries  in  Chinese  transcribed  Vietnamese poems  and  provide  better  understanding  of  Middle-Age  world  of  poems  that  have  been recognized as full of rules and conventions.
