TRY TO STUDY FROM THE "LIVER" (SAZ) IN H’MONG LANGUAGE

Abstract

Language and culture have an intimate relationship with each other. Any language in it also contains certain cultural codes. Among the  words denoting body parts in the language of H'Mong, we are interested in understanding the meaning of the  "liver" (SAZ). This is not only the frequency ,  but  it  also appears to have  much more profound symbolic meaning  as well. The use of    the word  "liver-SAZ"  for soul  in   H'Mong language is  continuous basis f or  the taboo of

this group of people.
