AN INITIAL STUDY ON THE VIETNAMESE EXPERIENTIAL VERB

Abstract

It is widely admitted that the verb is the most important part of speech in linguistics in general and in Vietnamese linguistics in particular. It is considered the central part of a sentence, surrounded by the elements like subject, object and adverb in traditional grammar. There have existed a big number of studies on the Vietnamese verb in Vietnamese linguistics. However, few researches on the experiential verb have been conducted as independent ones.
