ON THE CULTURAL LINGUISTIC ERRORS IN VIETNAMESE ADVERTISING DISCOURSES
Abstract
Through rich data of advertising discourses collected in the mass media in Vietnam from the early years of the Doi Moi policy to now, the author examines, analyzes, comments and points out a fairly comprehensive and lively picture of the cultural linguistic errors occuring in Vietnamese advertising discourses nowadays.The author also explains the causes and suggests some solutions in principle to overcome those problems, contributing to improving the quality of the ads in Vietnam in the future.Downloads
