Methods for forming Vietnamese criminal science terms

Abstract

    This article focuses on the methods of term formation, particularly applying to the Vietnamese criminal science ones. The analysis of 1360 Vietnamese criminal science terms has offered four methods for forming these terms, namely: terminologization of common words; borrowing foreign terms; using acronyms; coding the word.
