AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE NEEDS ANALYSIS OF LEARNING CHINESE OF NONMAJOR LANGUAGE STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITIES IN THE CENTRAL AREA OF VIET NAM

Abstract

This article indicates the results of the survey on the needs of learning Chinese of non-major language students at universities in the central area of Vietnam like Hue Foreign Language University, Da Nang Foreign Language University, Duy Tan University and Quang Binh University. The author basically focuses on assessing learning objectives, teaching methods, and course contents. Based on the study results, the author suggests some contents and methods which should be applied with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of non-major Chinese learning and teaching at tertiary level in Vietnam.
