Effects of Sowing Time on Growth and Biomass Yield of Blue Pea (Clitoria ternatea L.) under Winter Season Conditions in Gialam, Hanoi

Abstract

The objective of this study was to identify suitable sowing date for blue pea in the winter season in Gialam, Hanoi. The experiment was evaluated in a RCB design with three replications. It was shown that different sowing time clearly affected vegetative growth and biomass yield of blue pea.  Sowing in the early September appeared to be most suitable in terms of growth and biomass yield
