Effects of Using the Zeolite-Polymer Materialon the Growth and Yield of Maize NK 66

Abstract

A study on the effects of zeolite-polymer on the growth and yield of maize NK 66 was conducted in a field experiment at Hanoi University of Agriculture in Spring 2009. The experiment included control zinc supplementation and zinc supplementation in combination with the zeolite material. The treatments were arranged randomly with three replicates and plot size of 10 m. 2Results indicated that supplemention with zeolite-polymer maintains higher soil moisture in comparison with the control. Moreover, the toxicityof high zinc concentration was nullified in combination with zeolite-polymer material
