Classification of cordyceps and related fungi – A review

Abstract

    Cordyceps and related fungi (Hypocreales, Ascomycota) have a long history of interactionwith human. This fungal group is well-known for its application in agriculture and medicine.Great interest has been given for this group, especially in their classification and systematics. Inthis current review, current classification system of Cordyceps fungi is presented under the viewof morphology and molecular phylogenetics.
