After introduces a short history of hymn performance in Christian churches, the author discusses on the process of formation of the book of Divine songs of the Protestant Church in Vietnam. He concludes that the Divine songs has in last century played a significant role in deepening and developing spiritual life of Vietnamese Protestants.
